In 2020, just before the COVID-19 lockdowns, Optimmunize organized the first-ever conference on the non-specific effects of vaccines<\/a>. The event was hosted at the Wellcome Genome Campus in Cambridge, UK. After the conference, Optimmunize members participated in a viewpoint article in Nature Reviews Immunology<\/a>. In connection with the conference, the journal Vaccine published a special issue on the topic<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

In February 2017, long-time and new Optimmunizers gathered in Copenhagen, Denmark, for the 4th Optimmunize workshop.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Satellite Meeting<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In October 2015, the first satellite meeting of Optimmunize was held in Bissau, where the Bandim Health Project<\/a> is based.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Optimmunizers gathered for the second time in Copenhagen, Denmark, in August 2012. A proceedings paper<\/a> was published in the journal Clinical Infectious Diseases after the workshop.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
